LAKE MAGNIFICENT IN
THE GORGEOUS GRANITE DELLS

A seasonal stream flows nearby into a forest with a seasonal pond complete with a wild little island surrounded by sheer canyon walls, walls that flow with multiple waterfalls after each rain.

An additional year-round creek that leads to Lake Magnificent (aka Watson Lake) is a 1.5 mile walk away via a trail beneath towering trees amidst seasonal wildflowers. The serene lake boasts more than a dozen rocky islands which are frequently visited by hundreds of water birds, though only relatively few human adventurers. Watson Lake can be reached via hiking, bicycling or driving to enjoy sailing, kayaking and windsurfing. The Sanctuary borders a seasonal pond, marsh, meadow and beach that is often visited by nesting ducks, migratory birds, bobcats, mountain lions, foxes, coyotes, racoons, owls and Arizona tree frogs.

Watson Lake is just over a mile away by spectacular foot trail, bicycle path or road. Watson Lake is a no-wake lake ideal for kayaking, windsurfing and sailing.

VERY KIND & WELCOMING

“This is a beautiful home in a great location. John and Happy were incredibly kind and welcoming. A unique and wonderful getaway. We will definitely come again and would recommend this place to anyone!”

~ Kelly McGovern

QUIET & SERENE LOCATION

“The location for this AirBnB is a hidden sanctuary and called Happy And Free Oasis. The tranquility oozes everywhere and allows one to relax. I have been to hotels just before arrival to this place, and am writing this message after spending a night at a hotel right after Happy and Free's house. I slept better in their house than anywhere else in a long time. Upon arrival, the house was spotless (and we thought we left it that way, too), the beds were very comfortable, towels were thick clean white and there was plenty of them. The internet worked great and I did not miss the TV a single bit. Thank you for your hospitality.”

~ Kari from Finland

UNFORGETABLE

“Despite some rainy weather my boyfriend and I had a lovely time discovering the charming town of Prescott. Heaven on Earth will be like no where you have ever stayed before and will make your stay unforgettable whatever the weather. We luckily also got some sunny spells during our time there and were able to go out climbing some of the beautiful granite dells surrounding the house and enjoy some breathtaking views. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit, taking you to what feels like hundreds of miles from the southern deserts of Arizona.”

~ Dominique Beltran

COME BACK AGAIN & AGAIN

“Great find! Would absolutely stay again!”
